3 Spiritual Quotes I like

I found some spiritual quotes which I found interesting and started my philosophical juices flowing. Here’s my take on some of them, what’s yours?

  1. “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
    Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

This is true we are spiritual beings (whether you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Pagan what ever) we are essentially a spirit/soul here to learn, otherwise what is the point of living. We must experience humanity, humility to fully integrate all experiences.

       2. “Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith.”
Unknown

One of the hardest things I have had to learn (in this life) is the art of forgiveness, otherwise life would become bitter without letting go of the negative we hold towards people, situations and life. If we don’t let go or surrender to forgiveness how bitter, cold and twisted can one become? How much hatred can one hold and what would that do to them? so if you hold a grudge against someone, or haven’t let go of an issue maybe you should evaluate it, and yourself, to free yourself.

3.The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.”
Helen Keller

I must say these are wonderful words uttered by Mrs Keller. Not everything in life can be experienced by by out 5 senses. We should and can explore the world with more than just these 5, so why is half to world not? Maybe they haven’t learnt to, or my preference they haven’t remembered how to. so to those who can help a fellow person to grow these other senses to help them understand and appreciate life and love it.

Let us grow as a universal consciousness, and know that “I am you, and you are me”
